NZ Paramotoring height record & Flying at 9500ft over Christchurch

Over the months October/ November I will be attempting to fly to 13,500 ft. I wana experience what's it like freezing my extremeties off while setting a new NZ height record.
As a wee tester I flew to 9500ft over Christchurch last week which is the legal limit. With permission from the authorities and an exemption in a particular area I will be able to fly to 13,500ft
Motor to be used Fly Products Gold 130 and an Apco Thrust wing.

At 6pm, with 1.5 hrs of light left, I launched at Fairlie with the intention to fly to 14000 ft, after obtaining officialy clearence to 15000ft. I reached 10,000 ft in 30 minutes, with the climb rate noticably dropping off after 8000ft. The motor lost power on a few occasions due to cab icing but restarted without too much trouble. At 13,300, due to temperature and limited time restraints I decided to come down. Will Attempt the flight again when the weather warms up and possibly try 15000ft.
