The Canterbury Plains, Port Hills, Banks Peninsula and the Canterbury Coast line, provides an ideal adventure playground for paramotor training.

Paramotoring lessons, Christchurch, New Zealand, come in 4 pilot training courses.

 

Option 1 - Paramotoring introductory Course

 

        Cost: $240

        Requirements: no experience neccessary. Weigh less than 85kg.

        Duration: 2 - 3 hrs

        

        This couse is designed for those that have a interest in paramotoring and want

        to learn more and experience this exciting sport

         

         This 1/2 day Course includes the following:

  • Flight theory
  • Flight simulator work
  • Paramotor tandem flight

Option 2 - Paramotoring Conversion Course

Cost: NZD $900
Requirement: PG2 licence or equivalent.
Duration: 3 - 4 days.

This 3-4 day course includes instruction on the following:

  • The power unit
  • Configuration
  • Mixing fuel
  • Safety
  • Starting procedures
  • Theory of flight in regards to powered paragliding
  • Ground work
  • 12- 15 Powered flights
  • All equipment supplied

Upon completion of this course, students are ready for extended flights with their very own powered paraglider.

If the sudent requires addition flights $60 per hr charge rate.

Option 3 - PG2 course + conversion

Paragliding PG2 course plus paramotor conversion (For the complete novice).

 Cost: $2900

 Duration: 8 – 12 days.

Course includes:

  • PG2 paragliding licence
  • Theory of flight in regards to powered paragliding
  • Airman ship
  • Airlaw
  • Pre-motorized flights
  • Motor unit - ground work
  • 15 powered flights min
  • All equipment supplied

Option 4 - Full Paramotor Course

Extensiive paramotoring course designed for those that want to    paramotor only.
